Best Par 3 holes in Scotland GCA choice

The recent thread got me thinking what would the GCA collective top 10 par 3 holes be in Scotland.... So name your top 5 and 5 close contenders.


Here are mine


1. 8th at Troon   (10pts)
2. 11th at TOC           (6pts)
3. 11th at Turnberry       (4pts)
4. 16th at Gleneagles Kings   (3pts)
5. 11th at Castle Stuart (2pts)
1 pt each for; 2nd at Dornoch, 9th at Turnberry, 3rd at Shiskine, 17th at Castle Course, 11th at Prestwick,

Sadly, I've only been to Scotland twice so I'm at a disadvantage. Here's my top five that I have played:


#15 at North Berwick. (Adrian, you really left the Redan off your list?)
#8 Royal Troon
#11 TOC
#4 Cruden Bay
#11 Prestwick

#11 Turnberry
#4 North Berwick
#7 Western Gailes
#3 Eiie

13 at Muirfield, 13 at Crail Balcomie, 17 at Crail Craighead, 8 at Royal Troon, 11 TOC, 8 Eden,  2 Royal Dornoch, 16 Carnoustie, 15 NBWL, 3 Balcomie


Not in that order.  I need to think about the top 5.....

#2 Dornoch, first hole I saw in Scotland, at sunset.
#17 The Castle Course. For some reason it felt like #15 at CPC on the tees.

#18 Brora, the end to my first day of play in Scotland.
