The YANK'S 2017 NEXT 50 TOP GB&I

I reckon the bottom 25ish are at risk from being dropped should I ever play all the real candidates for top 100.  I haven't played probably 15 very good calls for top 100.

I was shocked to see Machrihanish so low. What holds it back so much for you?

For me, the back nine of Machrihanish is nothing to get excited about.  Practically all the best shots and all the best holes comeon the front...which is world class. But I admit that I didn't fall in love Machrihanish.

Looking at the 5th and 6th grouping indicates how many terrific courses we are blessed with in GB&I. One could play just these courses and still be a very happy golfing bunny. It's easy to forget sometimes how fortunate we are golf wise in GB&I.

You are right!  I didn't really look at the courses previously, but when these courses are given the twice over its a damn fine bunch.
