Play Wine Valley on your way north, then play it again on your way home...it's that good.  Could say the same for Gamble Sands.  When you walk off WV you think, "I could play that hole so much differently, I'm heading back out".  After Gamble, the thought is, "that was so much fun, I just want to play it again!"

I agree with Dan, Wine Valley is fantastic, in addition, might have been the best conditioned greens I've ever played. Gamble Sands is a lot of fun too, although I wish Kidd hadn't played things so conservatively at the greens, but given the criticism he has received in the past, I understand. Tumble Creek is also worth the effort to see, difficult, but a very serene place to enjoy a game. Rumour has it the other two courses at Suncadia stack up very nicely to Tumble Creek, I wish I had taken the time to play them, but that gives me a nice excuse to return.

You should play all the courses on your list. But for the Washington courses, when you're finished, I think you'll agree that Palouse Ridge and Prospector aren't worth playing at the expense of missing replay rounds at both Gamble Sands and Wine Valley. Circling Raven is excellent, too. Enjoy!

Dan, Tyler and Joe - Thanks for your thoughts - it seems that Wine Valley and Gamble Sands continue to be consensus choices throughout the entire thread. 
Having not seen any of the courses listed, I am hesitant to give up on any of them although Prospector at Suncadia could be tradable for Tumble (if we can get on) or Rope Rider at this point. 

I'm also interested in seeing all this geography with the idea of seeing a place to spend summertime instead of down here in this hot DFW weather.

DFW summer will make Eastern WA summer tolerable.  You will probably have dry heat.
