Long rumoured, there was a press article today that suggested that this is now a done deal and that the Scottish Open will be going to Dundonald next year. The article also suggested that some of the greens had been extended and that 3 of them had been recontoured to give additional pin placements.
It's been a few years since I played there and had heard about some tweaking that was done a few years back but nothing in recent years. Was there really insufficient pin places to cope with 4 or 5 days of tournament play ? I also don't recall the greens being all that small either. Anyone know what's been done and who was advising ?
