So many great holes named so far. I'm surprised we are on page 3 and no one has mentioned Western Gailes #6.

Michael, #2 at Cabot Links is now #11 since the reconfiguration. Still a pretty awesome, fun hole...killer too.

I won't name 10 but I'd like to add #15 at Cabot Cliffs to the list...pretty awesome. Maybe one of my favs on the course really.

I don't know about the reconfiguration at Cabot Links. What's the routing now?

No one brought up #3 at Durban CC.  I haven't played it, but George Peper rated it one of the world's four best par 5s, in his book about the world's top 500 holes.

I'm surprised to see #2 at Peachtree only make one person's list; that hole is incredible I think!  Some other more well known holes that I don't believe were mentioned that surprise me are #18 at Kapalua, #4 at Dismal River White, #10 at Milwaukee CC, #13 at Inverness, and #18 at Edgewood Tahoe.  Here are some less famous holes that I don't believe have been mentioned that I think are great Par 5s:

#7 at Pradera (CO) - 594 yards - Alternate fairways with some great risk/reward opportunities.  Taking the right fairway requires more forced carries but a great chance to reach the green in two.

#15 at Desert Canyon (WA) - 690 yards - Massive downhill hole that rides a ridge before ending at a bluff above the Columbia River.

#11 at Walden at Lake Conroe (TX) - 582 yards -  Double dogleg with the first half of the hole lined by trees and the second half finishing on the lake to a peninsula green site.  Aerial photographs of this hole show just how impressive it is.

#13 at Dunes Golf and Beach Club (SC) - 590 yards - Doglegs right around a lake and climbs uphill the whole way home.  Plus, who doesn't love a hole with a "Beware of the Alligators" sign? :)

#12 and #17 at Wolf Creek (NV) - A pair of compelling holes.  The 12th bends left as it tumbles downhill between a pond and canyon wall before finishing at a snowman shaped green wedged between a bunker and a pond.  #17 plays off a cliff top to a fairway that features a creek cutting across it and finishes at a dramatic peninsula green site.

#2 at Spanish Peaks (MT) - 527 yards - At 7,000 feet elevation this hole is very reachable in two, especially with the downhill tee shot.  The approach makes this hole as the fairway doglegs right around a pond to an elevated green site tucked into the side of a hill.  If your tee ball is too far right then you are hitting a blind shot over the trees to a relatively small target.  From the left you have a better view but longer approach.

#9 at Salt Lake Country Club (UT) - 525 yards - Reachable in two, this downhill par five features a steep ravine fall off on the left and a wide fairway to hit to initially.  Long ballers can carry their tee shot too far and fall into a second ravine unless they challenge the narrow fairway on the right that traverses the ravine.  With the ravine protecting the shortest route to the green, players face a heroic carry to a green angled away from them and protected by a cluster of bunkers.

#16 at Entrada (UT) - 563 yards - Truly one of the most unique settings for a golf hole.  This par five meanders through the old lava rock flow with an outcropping near the landing zone and a green site tucked into a lava rock amphitheater setting.  The towering red rocks surrounding the property provide an impressive contrast to the green grass, white bunkers, and black lava.

#1 at Sanctuary (CO) - 604 yards - One of the most impressive and intimidating opening tee shots I've ever played.  The drop has to be 200 feet to the fairway below and the back tee is no bigger than my dining table.

#6 at Black Creek (TN) - 559 yards - A modern day template course where the 6th hole features a fantastic punchbowl green that is hidden behind a built up burm and bunkering.  A video camera and TV should be put on the target pole behind the green so you can watch how your ball tumbled to it current position after hit the blind approach :)

By the way Sean, count me among the fans of #11 at Arcadia Bluffs.  What a unique hole in a spectacular setting.
