The formula rewards distance more than anything else. If you stick to the US, your best bet is probably playing PV and then rushing out to HI to play Kapalua. I think the distance is around 5000 miles, which gives you almost double anything in the 48 states. If you open up the world, your highest score probably comes from playing PV and Royal Melbourne.
BINGO! It's all about how far and quickly you travel in-between courses.
