Did anyone ask Paul Moody for permission to post his images here? Or the folks at Moraine Country Club? It's possible a moot point, but you can't just throw up someone's work, even if you cite it. I'm not certain if Ran worries about this, but it would certainly be awkward if a club or photographer asked him to remove images from the site.

Sure looks like they have done a nice job with the work. The turf looks exceptional.

I agree with Ronald. Assuming that the photos are OK to post though...that work is phenomenal.

Ron,

A friend of mine asked me to post these photos due to him not knowing how.  A close friend of his is a member and said it was fine.  The photos are in the public domain he replied.  For the record said member is a lawyer.  I also emailed the keeper at Moraine yesterday morning and asked him to let me know and I'd be happy to remove them.  He hasn't responded back to me.  If anything posting these tours is free advertising, I'm under the impression that Moraine isn't trying to stay in the shadows.

The course looks remarkable and I need to get to Cleveland (I may be the first person to say that last phrase for any reason in the past century).

You also have to love a club/course named after a glacial land feature.   ;D

I just joined as a non resident.  It's about an hour and twenty minute drive from my house in Dublin.  I have always enjoyed playing Moraine. The redo convinced me to finally join.   Looking forward to May.

Mike I'm assuming you know that Moraine is in Dayton? Actually the shrinking town it is in is called Moraine, so I guess it's just named after the town.

JLahrman,

I do now.

I was only off by about 3 hours!   ;D

Has anyone ever said, "I need to get to Dayton"?   ;)

Ever heard of the Wright Brothers?  Can one be such an East Coast elitist?

Ben,

Too funny.   My closest neighbors are deer and bear.   The town where my post office is located when I need to pick up milk is 8 miles and 20 minutes drive away.   My wife and I joke that we're the only Democrats in our county and likely the only non-gun-owners as well.

No elitism here.   I grew up with a coal breaker across the street.   I can make fun of Dayton or Cleveland because I make fun of my own.

Hmmm...

Players reporting to the Dayton Dragons?
The four teams that play in the NCAA play-in games each year?
Guided by Voices?
Allison Janney?
The competitors in the 2005 US Senior Open?
