New course at sweetgrass
« on: March 06, 2015, 01:17:19 PM »
I didn't see any topics posted on this. I just received letter from Island Casino updating on all the improvements they will be making in the next few years. No information was listed who would design the course. If anyone has any more information please share.

When they called me they indicated they would interview three Michigan architects.  I assume Mike is the second.  I don't know who's the third.

Thank you Tom for the response. Have you seen either pictures or visited the site?  I am a big fan of greywalls and sweetgrass. For the money it is one of the best trips out there.

Another course at Sweetgrass will be a huge plus for the Casino.  I made a trip to the U.P. last year and played Greywalls, Timberstone and Sweetgrass.  The course conditions were outstanding at Sweetgrass not to mention they serve $3.50 redbull and vodkas :). The staff at Sweetgrass was one of the best I have ever dealt with.  Greywalls is amazing as well and it is one of the better golf experiences in Michigan.  I would love to see either Mike or Tom get the job.

Not a lot of other choices if the last name isn't Matthews or Hearn.
I get it, you are mad at the world because you are an adult caddie and few people take you seriously.

Excellent spellers usually lack any vision or common sense.

I know plenty of courses that are in the red, and they are killing it.

Well, there's Albanese and Wilczynski and Hepner and......
