What great courses do not feature "out of bounds" at any point during the round?

This sounds like a trick question to me, so I'll answer each and every one of them.

I don't think Hidden Creek in New Jersey has any ob.

I doubt The Bridge has out of bounds (and yes I think it is great). Does Sebonack have out of bounds?

I can't recall any at Royal Melbourne at least on the West Course, and I don't think Augusta does either. On the flip side I used to be a member at Darwin Golf Club that had OB on 17 holes.

As the starter on Bandon Dunes tells everyone, the only out of bounds on any of the four courses is to the right off the first tee.

Ballyneal has OB on the right side of #4.

On RM West you could hit it out of bounds on 11,14 and 15.
On the East 2,3,4,5,7,10,11,14,15 and 17 have boundaries on the right.

[Way] over the green on #12 is out of bounds, right?

How about the cabins (say, beside #10).  Is that area OB?

A golf course here in Roanoke (originally a Flynn design) now has OB to the right on seventeen consecutive holes (beginning with the approach on #2 and continuing on literally every shot through the eighteenth green).

There isn't a single instance of OB to the left and there are no homes on the golf course.

I was going to say Pine Valley because over the course of 1,000 rounds there I can't remember anyone hitting one OB . However , I can think of two places where it just might be possible .

thanks for the correction Mike, must admit I didn't even notice it though except for 15.

I would imagine every course has something, car parks, club house, boundary fence it is just how often or how bad does it have to be to knock one ob.

My definition of "great" applies to very few golf courses. However, if I may substitute "Excellent", I can add both courses at Forest Creek.

Don,

It takes an awful shot to hit it OB on most of the sandbelt courses but the many holes which have had to be changed suggest it's a problem

No OB at The Bridge
The track is in play
No stakes on any color at The Bridge, though there is a seasonal pond short and way right of 8 fairway

Sebonack? right of one in NGLA's pro shop I assume would be out of bounds

It's been said above that a lot of great courses don't have OB and I mostly agree with that.  But does OB have a strategic merit?  Or is it just a necessary evil that will always exist on property lines?  I know Hoylake has the in course OB around one of their Par 5s, but I can't remember it prominently featured on most great courses.

I would prefer my hazards to have the possibility of getting out of trouble, no matter how tough the recovery might be.  The stroke and distance penalty is very harsh, but I suppose it would force the player to consider it.  In general I'm not a a fan of OB, but I would love to hear if others think it can have strategic merit?

Strike that comment on Ballyneal.  The scorecard notes there is no Out of Bounds on the course.

NGLA has no out of bounds, says so right on the card.  Jeff, into the pro shop off Seabonack's first tee, would be way way
right, on occasion balls do fly into the caddy yard.

There is no OB at the Mid Ocean Club in Bermuda. The scorecard states:

"There is no out of bounds. Please do not damage plants while searching for, or playing, a ball from private property."

Dismal, Sand Hills, Wildhorse,  Prairie Club.

I believe PC Dunes has an OB fence down the right side of #2. I remember this because I was up against it, despite that fairway being wider than the grand canyon.

I stand corrected but that is quite a fairway to miss!
