RJ,

That's a mini-CM.

Two photos of real snakes will be posted shortly.

I should have taken a picture of the large alligator sunning himself on the fairway bank on # 8 Blue.

I tried to get him to move, but, he didn't budge an inch.

I got the message.

He wasn't letting me play through.

I lifted this one from Matthew's photobucket roll of others from Ratho in Bothwell:

"Crikey, she's a little beauty mate"... as a famous Aussie used to say on his TV show.

Really, who takes their butler with them on to the golf course?  ::) ;D

This is a photo of the redevelopment of our course, the 5th green on the right and the new 6th tee on the left restoring it to a par 5.

Brian,

Really good picture.

And as someone that has only recently attempted to take pictures on the course and similarly has nothing to hand other than a phone, you've done far better than me!

Feeling lazy so I'm going to extend the entry deadline to the 27th.  We'll do the voting after that.

I'm sticking with my Boulder Ridge submission earlier in this thread, but I thought this shot of Pebble Beach #5 was worth sharing as well.

Just a thought but maybe it would be good to update the original thread with this information as well.

Good thing they have anti-venom in the pro shop. You definitely don't want to get bit by an eastern diamondback.

Bill,

Thanks

Could you post the picture of the big Water Mocassin in the fairway.

Sorry I didn't take some photos of the Gators sunning themselves on the fairways and banks.
At 10 to 13 feet they were to be avoided at all costs.

I am a day late, and no doubt a dollar short, but I feel compelled to add this photo. It was taken yesterday at our GCA outing at the apparently doomed Piqua Country Club. I think it should be considered in a 3rd category: Play it as it lies.
