Pat has earned the right to post as he sees fit. His threads are almost always on topic, if perhaps a bit simplistic. His financial contributions to the site are something we should all aspire to over the next few decades. That doesn't mean you can't judge him for his fonts, his inability to construct a complete paragraph, or his general disposition. However, anyone who loves GCA should be happy to click past Pat's posts and roll their eyes at his conduct while benefiting from the generosity he has shown to this site.
As for his thread titles, a lot of them are good teasers. Others are really stupid. I choose which ones to click on based on whether or not the title piques my interest or not, as we all should. If you simply ignore the threads you find distastefully titled or unworthy of discussion, and enough people agree with you, those threads will disappear from the front page. If you give them more attention, they'll keep coming. This thread=more attention. In my head, I picture Pat printing and framing threads like this and hanging them on the walls around the chair where he spends 14 hours a day typing posts on this discussion group.
