...They have been the only major golf entity in favor of rolling back the ball. ...
Why shouldn't they be? They are currently hosting a junior golf tournament the day before the Masters. Could you ever see the U$GA doing the same thing? They are major supporters of The First Tee. They continue to support amatuer golf and continue to start new amatuer tournaments across the globe. They have been the only major golf entity in favor of rolling back the ball. They run The Masters perfectly. They seem to be the only major golf organization that gets "it"
Why shouldn't they be? Wow. Too numerous to even begin but I'll answer a couple of the other questions. They are currently hosting a junior golf tournament the day before the Masters. Could you ever see the U$GA doing the same thing?Uh, 10 of the 13 national championships conducted by the USGA are for amateurs and two are The US. Junior Boys and US Junior Girls. Can't even begin to count the number of state and regional golf associations running junior programs all with the help and financial support (to varying degrees) from the USGA.They are major supporters of The First Tee. So is the USGAThey continue to support amatuer golf and continue to start new amatuer tournaments across the globe. So has the USGA including the new Four Ball Championship which will replace the US Publink this year. Will be a great championships and will be relavent to many as it is the most common form of club play. They have been the only major golf entity in favor of rolling back the ball. Then why havent they done anything themselves? It is their tounrament, they can set pretty much any conditions of competition they wish--they could mandate one type of conforming ball if they wanted to. They run The Masters perfectly. It is a world class event although if you look at its history, it has been far from perfect. They seem to be the only major golf organization that gets "it"I think a lot of people in golf get "it" including many major organizations. What exactly is the "it" you want them to fix?
Hell No!
