ParAide Owner has a good idea

Steve Garsky of ParAide has a blog and discusses the issue of GIS show etc.  It sort of shows how the established companies cannot just come out and say "enough is enough".  I personally don't see the GCSAA and the trade show agreeing to such a change.  The GIS is all about the trade show as a business.

I had more than one discussion this year with many different people that all agree the show should be held every other year.  I have a really hard time believing that attendance was up...the place was completely empty Thursday afternoon.

Steve (Garske) is a thoughtful guy with a good plan. I doubt, though, that we will see GIS embrace an 18 month cycle.
