I live in a gently hilly area outside of Philly which is the home to many fun and hilly courses . But some courses tend to just go up and down the hill or have too much blindness.  In other places in the area it looks like the hills could provide a good course but the slopes seem too steep or sharp. So it ain't a layup to build a course just because it is hilly.

Mike - Rolling Green is perhaps the best (or most frustrating) use of topography I've ever played.  How the heck did Flynn end up with 18 uphill holes?  :)

Mike, hilly land is almost always harder than flat to design a course upon, at least as far as routing is concerned. But it usually presents much more opportunity also.
