Tilman Fertitta announced today he is bringing his Golden Nugget brand to Lake Charles after purchasing the casino complex currently under construction next to L'Auberge du Lac. It will be the fifth Golden Nugget casino operating in the United States.
The complex will feature meeting spaces, a ballroom, entertainment showroom, a hotel with 800 rooms and suites, an 18-hole championship golf course, a spa, shops, and restaurants.
The new Golden Nugget Casino is expected to open in 2014.
