It works very sporadically. Once it fails, it seems to fail repeatedly, but if you come back fresh after awhile sometimes it will work (like this time for me).

I get this and then of course the preview never worked on this site and Search doesn't seem to work as well as other forums.

I wonder if the issue is that switching to other forum software would mean losing the history of all of the past threads and we certainly don't want that.

Preview worked for several years when I first joined. Now it hasn't been working for some time.

Just to add another possible glitch, whenever I log in I get a message saying incorrect password. When I try it again, it lets me in. And it does it all the time recently, so its not just a typo!

Quoting a post doesn't work. Hasn't for years.

A few weeks back I started getting the "your session timed out..." message when I posted, even though I was sufficiently signed-in to then post it by trying again. Happens every time I post, now.

Just now I got for the first time "Session verification failed. Please try logging out and back in again, and then try again." when I tried to modify a post.

It's getting ridiculous. If Ran wants to pass a hat around to raise the required cost of fixing the software, I'll happily pitch in.

It's interesting the features work for some and on some devices and not on others.   Sounds like a complete overhaul is required.   

Those who have not contributed to GCA.com recently, or ever, should think about doing so.  I'm sure the fix won't be inexpensive.

I've had the above issues on 20+ computers and mobile devices across three countries, using 4-5 different browsers over the course of almost four years. Others have never experienced a single drama. Very strange.

As I said, I'll be happy to contribute to a fund that finances the repair of this site, because all the bugs are getting beyond a joke

Legal, free, open source, PHP, MySQL. It doesn't get any freakin easier. 2.0 is stable, nice. Some computer whiz needs to volunteer time to Ran and Ben to bring this place into the 20th (sic) century!
