Is Nine Bridges and Public or Private Course?

Are there any photos?  I did a couple of searches, but did not find anything.

Can anyone comment on the course who have played it?

Thanks,
Paul

It is a private course with "limited" outside play.

I have heard this is a pretty amazing event.

John Sabino and Bill Schulz have, but I'm sure there are more

I think Bill played it.  Sabino played the '03 list and Nine Bridges was not on that list.

Schulzie has played everything.  If there was a World 100 outside Aleppo, he would be there next week in combat gear.

Richard,

What does limited outside play mean?  Is there a cottage or resort you have to stay at?  Only let x number of outside play rounds a week/month/year?

Hi Paul,

I was just reading through their website, and trying to do some translation, but it looks like they do have an English version (http://www.ninebridges.co.kr/English/).

It looks like you probably have to stay on site in one of their condos. They are about $550/night, and I don't think that includes the price for the round.

Yes, thank you Richard for that information.

I'm guessing that there's no photo thread of the course out there.

Would really love to hear about the course and the experience from those that have been lucky enough to play it.

What US course does it compare to, if any?

I think it comes down to three options:

 1. Join a top 100 golf club and win their club championship
 2. Get on the Golf Magazine panel
 3. Work for Golf Magazine

Option 4: Get to know a VP from Samsung.

If you know a member from Lakeside, that probably would do as well.

I am only now realizing the scope of my addiction that I found myself looking at satellite images of Nine Bridges this am.   ???
