Fine Golf Day at Temple GC (UK) Tuesday, September 10

For our UK brethren and others who will be there in early September, this day out at Temple GC sounds like a very interesting (and reasonably priced) day & evening out:

Temple is a super course that has been hitting the headlines in the greenkeeping world for quite a few years. It would be worth going just to listen to what  Phil Baldock from Ganton has to say and I am sure Stuart McColm will be interesting as well. If you can get there it would be worth the effort.

Jon -

This panel discussion could be pretty interesting:

• A panel discussion

after the golf, which will centre on ‘FineGolf’ issues with questions from the audience.  The opportunity of being involved with the opinion leaders of today’s recreational game.  The panellists will include:

Donald Steel, golf author, golf architect, champion golfer and GTC chairman.

Nick Park, golf commentator on the recreational game and member of various
R&A golf course committees for 25 years.

Stuart McColm, General Manger of Castle Stuart GC and constructor of Kingsbarns GC.

Alistair Beggs, Official Agronomist to The R&A Championship Committee.
