Should we submit entries on the original map, the detailed map, or does it matter?

I think the original map may be better from a presentation perspective.

I think we should keep the entries relatively standardized and anonymously numbered for the first round (say one whole course overview). Then let the judges sort through the full course packages.

Ok, I agree.

Alex,
no chance i can present on the orignal map - too much work in already on subsequent topos.

I will just have to present what I have and if it breaks the submission rules - will abide by whatever you think.

Am on very thin ice with the family with the amount of time already put in, will need to keep going with what I have, almost complete.

I don't care... you can all publicly trash mine as badly as you want. I'm not under any delusions at all that I'm any good at this. I'm just curious to see if I've learned anything from this site.

My wife and I just brought our second son into the world this week, so I'm using that as an excuse.

Don't worry about it. Seriously whatever you have will be very readable I'm sure!

Alex,
have you decided on what format the first round of judging is going to take, and more importantly for the contestants, what part or parts of our submissions are you planning to present for judging first round? the whole thing, or something different?
cheers

1 page will be presented for the first round. If you send me your routing and scorecard I will shop the scorecard onto a blank part of your routing.

We are going to go with the email of votes (seemingly a hassle,  but not really). You have 5 picks to move on to the final round of judging. Do not vote for yourself, and your vote will be shown in a public spreadsheet. There will be no names but individuals will be able to identify their ballot and submission.

Bump.

Also to clarify, deadline will be 11:59 PM ET Friday. Also I will try to get the submissions up quickly, but golf could get in the way (yes!). Expect to be able to see submissions by Sunday evening. There will be 2! weeks for first round review and voting. The judges will review the finalists and we will try to have everything wrapped up sometime shortly after The Masters. It may seem far off, but at least our attention won't be divided.  ;)
