Hideout Golf Club in Naples?

I think we can rule-out Doral.

Floridian.  Any reviews?
The only way of really finding out a man's true character is to play golf with him. In no other walk of life does the cloven hoof so quickly display itself.

It appears he does enjoy a good hot dog!

At first I thought no way he goes to a resort facility but then I remembered when I lived and worked at Palmetto Dunes, then President Clinton came to Renaissance Weekend over New Year's and played the George Fazio Course. My roommate was home that day and snapped a pic from our condo of the President playing the 8th hole. So I'd guess it is a possibility he could be playing there at SS.

Edit - I see his location is not Mulberry!

What a disappointment. He needs to support American architects instead of a globe trotting South Africa.

May I suggest Old Memorial, Grand Pines, Southern Dunes, The Golf Club at Bridgewater, or Plantation Bay.

By the way Patrick, why don't I recall us discussing any of these except Southern Dunes?

It appears The President's host, Mr. Crane, is considered one of the top CEO golfers.  It is obvious, the facility has everything needed to provide a secure weekend, including a helopad, and room for the whole team, including Prez's Pals.  The article reports that Fazio renovated Mr. Crane's course in the newly refurbished Floridian facility.

I wonder if El Tigre will pop over for a private Presidential lesson.

I saw somewhere yesterday that Butch Harmon was going to play with the President and give him a lesson.  So, I'm guessing Tiger is not going to fill out the foursome.  :)

They'd have to re-open Bridgewater especially for him.  :'(

Yes, I see that Harmon and his son have a teaching clinic relationship with the Floridian.

It would be a real news story if some enterprising reporter learned Mr. Boehner snuck out of DC with golf clubs packed, for a modern day version of "glastnost" or "detante".  ::) ;D

Dick,

Your spell checker must not be working.

I assume you meant "glass host" or "decant".

The talking heads this morning were in Port St. Lucie.  Right by the giant PGA  practice facility.
We have a pool and a pond, the pond would be good for you.

In my Redan Hills column some time ago, I recall specifically writing into the bylaws that politicians would not only be barred from membership, but were banned from setting one cloven hoof on the property.

Party affiliation is irrelevant.

No exceptions.

I have a different take, Gib.  I think our real mover and shaker politicians, despite being politically different in their philolophies ought to play more golf together, but without one stinking lobbiest of any stripe within their presents.  8)

Dick,

That is perfectly fine, just not on my golf course.

The only possible exception would be Ron Paul. The rest can go play Lincoln Park; let them get the full taste of what egregious fiscal mismanagement looks like.

Maybe we can arrange a drone strike on U.S. soil.

Too bad our President is out there playing golf instead of working for the country...o, was that politically incorrect...my apologies
Live Jupiter, Fl, was  4 handicap, played top 100 US, top 75 World. Great memories, no longer play, 4 back surgeries. I don't miss a lot of things about golf, life is simpler with out it. I miss my 60 degree wedge shots, don't miss nasty weather, icing, back spasms. Last course I played was Augusta
