4th or 14th? What the hell is an acute spur? Can it be cured with herbs?

The change is to the 4th but the 4th fairway adjoins the 14th. I am not sure how to describe an acute spur.  I had never heard the term until they started using it for this.

The fourth fairway adjoins the fifteenth, not the fourteenth.
