Got a great day planned at Overlook Golf Links, a Mike Young design. Mike has been most kind in working with me in setting up what is fixing to be a great day out. So here is the deal:.
We will be playing 36 holes at Overlook Golf Links in Lagrange, Ga on Saturday 8/11. We will play 36 holes, first tee time will be 830am. Before the second round, Mike will be giving us a Hamburger and beer lunch , it will be on him. The second round will be played around 230pm or so. The total cost for this day will be for golf carts only, we are planning on around $35, a helluva deal.
So far , I have firm committments from the following:
Eric Strulowitz and one guest
Mac Plumart
Mike Christenson
I have received a number of emails from others expressing interest or wanting more info, please get back to me NO LATER than 7/27 so I can give Mike a headcount for planning purposes. My email is Gagolfer2010@yahoo.com
Now for those of you that want to stay the night before , Mike can get us a rate at the Country Inn and Suites for $59. And if anyone who is interested, Mike may be able to set us up for a discounted round Friday pm at the Callaway Gardens Mountain Course, if you have not played this it will be an absolute treat. This course was the home of many years for a PGA Tour event.
So, pls get back to me with the following no later than Friday 7/27:
1. Interest in the outing at Overlook Golf Links on Sat 8/11, give me names of guests also
2. Do you and guests need a room at the Country Inn and Suites the night before?
3. Are you interested in a Friday 8/10 pm round at the Callaway Gardens Mountain Course.?
Just give me answers to the above, and we will get back to all personally with specific details. Another great GCA outing in the making.......
