The leader ties the record at 130 thro 36 holes so it cannot be too bad.

I've not been to The Open this year, but it certainly doesn't look as bad as some are making out? Certainly no worse than our rough at Notts at the moment which is brutal and I wonder if the young amateurs for the Boys Championship we are hosting in a few weeks time will complain as much as their professional counterparts?  ;D

James our rough is pretty tough and the Carris Trophy starts on Tuesday. I expect a few telephone number but also some very good numbers I'm guessing 284 as a winning score if the weather stays fine. Lowest handicap is a local lad off +5.
