Just back from Pinehurst and got to play No. 5 and No. 2. From tee to green I enjoyed the course overall, but once on the greens there really isn't much to write about. They are almost all flat and present no real significant interest. I was a little surprised at the condition of the course, but maybe it was a one off. I think the course is still worth a play and is fairly good through out with nothing crazy and a good way to start off a few days in Pinehurst.

Thanks Frank.  It is interesting that the outside of the doglegs are frequently bunkered.

Jason: I enjoyed No. 5. Although the greens weren't the most exciting the course was solid from tee to green. There are some really strong holes through the middle section and back nine and there are some doglegs with bunkers on the outside.
