Whoa!

Glad to hear you are okay, Philippe.

I've been working on body and mind lately myself, but I will try a bit harder after hearing of your experience.

Philippe, may I add my sincere wishes for a full recovery.  I've been amazed in the last few years at acquaintances of mine who have had a life threatening bout with mysterious viral and bacterial infections.  Most recently, a systemic bacterial infection that got into a relative's body and ate away valves of the heart, where the treatment was replacement valves, and a tricky series of antibiotic drips over some two months that don't really get right to the damaged cartiledge tissue of the heart valves, (as I understand it).  Never the less, those bugs are some scary critters, and glad you are doing better.

Phillippe,
Don't know you, but I experienced a less severe bout 6 years ago.
I got very sick, lost over a month of work, and importantly, i want to tell

you, in the ensuing years, i seemed to get sick easier.  A chest cold led to bronchitis very
easily.  My doctor is pretty aggressive when I have a chest cold, and i don't hesitate
to see him when I feel lousy.
Stay healthy, and be patient with recovery!

Phillipe,  I am glad you are better.
I have had some issues with my health, but it  was caused by my college wresting coach wanting me to make weight two classes below my fighting weight.

I have not been sick in over two years.  However, I beef up my immune system with high powered supplements, try to have my body and mind in balance with a good diet and exercise.  Oddly I have not had a headache (physically) in two years.  Headaches abound everyday where I am now.

I wish you the very best for you being 100%!

Phillippe,

Welcome back to good health, something we tend to take for granted.

As resilient as we are, life can be fragile.

One moment we're healthy and in the next moment we're fighting for our lives.

It makes you appreciate life and good health all the more.

I know that I can never repay all of those wonderful people, the medical staff who cared for and looked after me.
They were wonderful and every one of them contributed to my well being.

I'm sure you had a similar experience which contributed to your recovery.

Glad you have returned to good health.

Stay well
