Benham must drink it by the cup.

I drink tequila often, and when I do, I drink it from a cup ...

Big difference in "from a cup" and "by the cup"... Is that your private stash?

AS of now we have about 30 board members and an additional 20 or so family and friends having shown interest.

My wife and I are interested, too. I have no idea how we'll swing it financially, but the desire is very strong. If you've got a "maybe" list...

Rick - At this point we are all "maybes" including myself!  I will add you to the interest list.

I'm very interested as well. I'd come alone, and I'd like to share accommodations.

Thanks for the offer and for organizing.

I am almost embarrassed to admit I was a fan of EZ-E and the boys back in the day though I am not sure who you reference... no worries when it comes time the sign up forms will ask for all relevant info.

Again

January 17-21, 2013 (Thursday-Monday)

4 Nights Accommodations
Unlimited Golf at Cabo del Sol (including the formal event rounds)
Welcome Dinner
Closing Dinner

Any games, prizes, off-site golf, dining other than noted above and anything else will be up to each person/couple.

Rough estimate per person(golfer) is going to be somewhere in the $1100-1300 range. This will vary a bit as we place people in units but is pretty close.

Ideas that woudl compliment the evening dinners programmed:

1. Tequila Tasting
2. Live Entertainment
Again the most desirable off-site courses all come with strings or catches...

Diamante - Private and sales tours would be required. I will tryt o set up a group sales tour (trust me someone in the gorup will buy a fractional ownership villa if they have any remaining). After that the rate will be $306 unless something changes (Hi Paul)

Bay of Dreams (Doak) - Up in the air whether or not this will be in operation so it would be late in the planning but if open I will arrange a day trip for those interested. (All day excurion: 5 hour round trip): Best guess is bius trip and golf would be under $200 per person.

Chileno Bay (Fazio) - Course that was scheduled to open in 2009 and was playable at that time fell victim to the crisis and was let go. Efforts to get it back started about 2 months ago with hopes of opening sometime during the 2012/13 season. There is no indication as to the access (private/public) but if open I am sure we can arrange for some to play. Wild guess - $250

All others are public access and readily available but if we are able to secure access for the group on any of the three above that will be the plan. The costs noted are not in the package estimate at this time.

Order of preference:
1. Diamante
2. Chileno Bay
3. Bay of Dreams

Greg,

How much for a non-golfer? My wife might want to join me.

The low end will always be shared accommodations among multiple golfers.

Some cases will be best suited to a hotel room and in such cases the additional fee would be the single oocupancy upgrade that would include the dinner functions... best extimate for now is this would be about $700. in addition to the "starting prices" I have thrown out. Hope that is not confusing.

SJD - about 25 minutes.

I hope to arrange private transport service for all and pricing will depend on numbers of guests on each flight.

That call has already been made. Those with spouses joining them will stand a better chance... timeshare rules don't ya know. One way or another I am sure we will be able to get 20+ players out there.
