I played Greate Bay thanks to Archie`s generosity a couple of years ago and have wanted to get back ever since. Everyone will like it as there are some really good holes and the club has a fun vibe.  Shimony and McKeever will be happy to know that I didn`t have any pump houses come into play. ;)

Whenever I picture the Yale Redan in my mind's eye all I really see is a tree and a pump house.  One of these years I'll miss it to the left.  I'm looking forward to an excellent match this weekend.

Let's see how the forecast turns out Archie!  I'm cautiously optimistic we'll be okay on Sunday.

And JNC says 'if it's raining too hard, head to the casinos'!   ;D

I will keep my eye on the thread to see if it gets moved.  Tomorrow looks like it will be a good one.  Those who can attend should enjoy it.

One last shout-out:

Tee times are open after our two groups (1:30 and 1:4) at ACCC this afternoon (low 50's temps), so break out the clubs and join us!

Potential dicey weather not arriving until late tomorrow afternoon, so round at Greate Bay will be wonderful in the morning.  Plenty of room.

Breezy for sure.

Temp was ok till the last couple of holes that played into the wind as the sun was setting.  It got a bit chilly!

We practically had the course to ourselves.  And the staff treated us like gold.

Wrap-up mode.

This morning we had an absolutely wonderful time at Archie's Greate Bay CC.  Now that some of you have played it, you know why some of us speak about it so highly.

After Tim Martin and Kris Shreiner were done with their respective man-crushes in the parking lot, a 3h 15 m round commenced on a mostly in tact Willie Park, Jr layout.  Greens are great, routed nicely.  What a good time.  And this place really taxes the pea-shooter.
