just so I'm clear since I'll be in from out of town and en route from a biz meeting, is the dinner BYOB?

No. If you want you can bring a bottle of wine as the Erie Cafe is wine friendly. But cocktails are available.

Anyone who can bring wine, please do.

See you all Wednesday!

Thanks Greg-

Unless I remember to alert my Chicago cabbie to find a package store (highly unlikely) I'll be totally content paying full restaurant mark-up.

Looking forward to the evening...

Turns out I suffered from premature extraction. My work trip got canceled and I'm back in if Greg is kind enough to let me back in.

Any chance for a seat for a new GCAer?

Greg,
I had sent you an IM on 2/19.  Just wanted to make sure you got it and knew I would not be there.  Have a great time.

Just checked with Ladbrokes.  Odd's on Shivas no-showing have moved to 2 to 1.

He's the George Jones of GCA.

Glad to see young Vandyman Zach Molnar on the list.  Please don't corrupt him.

Shivas has been taken off the board.  As for Molnar, Daniel may have had it easier in the Lions' Den.

I'll vouch for Zach's integrity. He emerged unscathed from the Dunes Club outing last year.

I need to reluctantly cancel because there's a MSU hoops game on at 7:30 and I haven't missed a game in my entire life. That I can recall!

I will make the next one!

March is right around the corner!

GO GREEN!

I also have to withdraw. I am currently stuck at work and I don't see a light at the end of the tunnel for another couple hours. I hope to see y'all out in the spring. With as warm as things have been lately, that could be any day now, or could be in June. Hope y'all have a great time. With Jud providing the libations, I have no doubt that will happen.

Wasn't that a party! Conviviality throughout and great talks once Lavin's surprise first speaker (me) got out of the way. Kudos to Greg and Jack for setting it up!

Thanks again to all for participating: especially Ryan Potts for an informative presentation on  all the happenings at Medinah and Tim Nugent for a developmental history on The Dunes Club. A good time was had by all! Thanks again to everyone.
