If you want an amazing compliation of information re; the most underrated architect of the golden age, William Flynn, Wayne Morrison and Tom Paul's "The Nature Faker" is the most comprehensive book (it is on cd) that i have ever seen.  It is amazing the amount of information that they were able to compile.

While not strictly design related (there is a decent amount of design history in the book) and just on the market, Dobby's England's Finest Links (Royal Cinque Ports) is so far a very interesting club history.  I would recommend it.

Is there no one else who sees the comedy in a five-volume work . . . on CD . . . concerning a golf course architect . . . called "The Nature Faker"?  

The marketing strategy is so counterintuitive, it just might work.

Books signed by Pete and personally inscribed by me aren't a bargain along the lines of what everyone is mentioning on this thread..not by any means.  But--They do tend to go up in value, and will only continue to be worth more as time ticks by.
