Bloody hell, Tom!  There are a few on this site who have had good years but that must be about as good a run of ten courses as has ever been had.  Well played.
In June I will be riding the first three stages of this year's Tour de France route for charity.  630km (394 miles) in three days, with 7800m (25,600 feet) of climbing for the William Wates Memorial Trust (https://rideleloop.org/the-charity/) which supports underprivileged young people.

Mac,

Played the day after Thanksgiving and the conditions were less than perfect. They had plugged the greens recently and were sodding 4 or 5 tees. I spoke with the pro after the round and he indicated they have hired a new superintendent and are working on improving the conditions and attempting to have the course play firm and fast. Let hope they do because if this course was in great shape it would be one of the best public options on Long Island.

Tom Birkert wins this on the strength of his US courses alone. Wow.

A hat tip to Bill McBride on his English courses. Interesting group. A man of discerning tastes.

All these are in Southern Finland so I would bet that not many here have had the opportunity.  Since vareity is the spice of life, I have long ceased to be a Bag Tag Collector and like to trail the road less traveled. On this road you have a much better chance to be surprised by finding a diamond in the rough.  Sometimes it may be just one hole or feature, and even then that makes it worthwhile.  A bonus is that most of the time you get to analyse what's wrong and imagine how to remedy it, if that kind of thing interests you.
Hillside
Helsinki Golf Club The oldest in Finland, referred to asTali
Nord Center  (Fream)
Espoo Golf Club

kytaja s/e course (McBroom)

Kanava
Vuosari
Tusula
and a couple more I can't even begin to try to spell.
There is a Grahme Cooke and RTJII I'd like to get to next year (although they might be a little far away).

John Nixon Try Sandy Pines, just a bit north in DeMotte, you might be pleasently surprised.

It was a great trip, Bob.  Hankley Common and Liphook in the Buda -- two outstanding courses I had never heard of!! - and Walton Heath, Rye, Littlestone and New Zealand post-Buda.   There is much great golf in England.  You should plan to play in a Buda some day.  Great golf with a congenial crowd.

Tom sorry to hear you've had some health scares, must catch up soon.

Bill is there a second New Zealand golf club in England?  I played a very nice one yesterday in Surrey!

We should play "List your 2010 plays in order" that way Goldie will spend hours working out the exact order of play!!

How much golf do you play every year?  New Zealand will have been tough in the wind yesterday.
