Tim, I was denied as well. I hope the practice rounds will be a winner. I did get practice tickets in 2010, and that was my first time in five years.

Hopefully nobody tells the Nigerians.  I can imagine a whiplash of e-mails to us all now saying they've discovered an error in the ticket allotments and we just need to send them our social security and banking numbers to verify identity so they can deliver the ducats.

Myself and my buddy were also denied.

Sad that nobody hit.  Although you've got to figure that every employee of every ticket broker agency as well as almost every golf fan put in an order.

Here's to hoping on the practice round tix!

So much consternation by a group of guys who give Golfweek a pass even though they rank Augusta National as only the 10th best course built before 1960.  You guys get what you deserve and can like it.

Oops, that's 10th best in the United States built before 1960.

It seems to be a similar story with the London Olympics. We didn't bother to apply for tickets - you can see far better on TV, and the coverage of the terrorist activity will be first rate - but it seems that most of the relatives of likely British competitors won't be able to see their offspring perform, even if they're in some obscure sport. But Libya was going to get its full allotment of tickets until someone noticed that our three biplanes and an aircraft carrier (without aircraft) are currently throwing hand grenades at Col Gadaffi....

I was also denied as were the 8 of my coworkers who applied. If you assume there are 27 million golfers out there and only 10% applied that's 2.7M, with maybe 100 tickets...I'll let you do the math.

Denied for Practice Rounds as well ):  Same with my buddy who applied.

Although the internet application made this process much easier, I'm sure it greatly expanded the # of people applying.

Better luck to the rest of GCA, let us know if you or someone you know was successful!

Big fan of the strenuous objection.  Low success rate though.
I get it, you are mad at the world because you are an adult caddie and few people take you seriously.

Excellent spellers usually lack any vision or common sense.

I know plenty of courses that are in the red, and they are killing it.
