I find myself driving from Cleveland to Scranton.  Any courses of note that I could hit along the way?

I made half of that trip just yesterday.  Pretty mountainous for golf, at least west of I-99.

Penn State's White Course is about half an hour south of I-80 along I99/US220.

The course at Bucknell University in Lewisburg is not far from Rte. 80, about 10 miles down Rte. 15. It is very nice and you hit a lot of various irons for second shots. Good par 3s and 5s. Not a great, great course but good and fun.

Williamsport CC is also meant to be good.
Toftrees in state college is also a reasonable day of golf.

This course is not NEAR I-80.  It is closer to I-86 and very close to the NY border.
