I'm not interested in a bag because I just got two new ones last year, but I gotta say...those are sharp! Nice work Ben.

Is there anyone attending the Midwest Mashie who might be willing to take delivery of one for me and bring it with them to Lawsonia?  That would save me the shipping costs to the UK, if delivery will be in time.
In June I will be riding the first three stages of this year's Tour de France route for charity.  630km (394 miles) in three days, with 7800m (25,600 feet) of climbing for the William Wates Memorial Trust (https://rideleloop.org/the-charity/) which supports underprivileged young people.

Mark,

Sun Mountain have said it would take them 3 weeks to produce and 1 week to ship the bags. So there should be plenty of time for the hallowed GCA bag to arrive for the Midwest Mashie!

"The options are a Swift X or the bigger Superlight SLX"

Is the latter just a bigger bag with more pockets?  What do they each weigh?

I think the Superlight SLX is larger and weighs almost 4 pounds. One website said the Swift X weighs less than 3. The SLX has more pockets and a 6-section divider for clubs. The Swift X has just two sections.

Hi Lou,

Here are the dimensions from Sun Mountain.

Swift
36" height, 8.5" width, 12.5" length

SLX
36" height, 12.0" width, 15.5" length

Hope this helps

The orders are coming in (12 already in a short time)

Could I have both postal address and email address - so Sun Mountain can send them direct to you and I can reconfirm the order.

Cheers

Here is my address:

Jerry Kluger

I understand that a single strap option is available for the Swift X - be sure to let Ben know if you want the single strap otherwise the presumption is the dual strap system.

Overseas payments must be in US Dollars drawn on a US bank or I will have to pass on any fees from my bank to the purchaser.

Jerry,

I'm guessing that the majority of UK purchasers won't have a US bank account.  If fees are to be incurred (when aren't they with banks), perhaps it would make sense for one UK person to collect UK payments and make one bank transfer and thus only incur one fee?

Mark,

I will be collecting the UK money - will be working out with Jerry and/or Sun Mountain how the payments will go through. I am open to any suggestions

I love the bags, but not sure which to get.  I want it as light as possible, but the SLX has dividers and more pockets.  Anyone own either right now?

I own both. Bigger is easier on the clubs, smaller is easier on my back.  Generally I choose the clubs.

Jerry, I've mailed my check (to you) for a single strap SLX (the bigger bag), which I would like shipped to my office address (which is listed in the cover letter). Thanks.

Tony,

The Swift X has 2 dividers and the Superlight SLX has 4 dividers - Brad is probably right

There are color choices available from Sun Mountain for the Swift X and Superlight SLX bags but it will be very costly for one offs - this is the chosen 'batch order' colour in which the majority would vote for the 2011 GCA bag.
