Pictures of the Year - B Sides

This thread is meant to be a repository for photos from folks who posted on Sven's excellent thread, and perhaps had a tough time deciding on which one to submit. I'll take your # 2's here, if you please. Same rule applies as the other thread. Please post just one. Thanks, Max

I was thinking of this same thread.  Picture of the Alps from Old Macdonald coming tonight, which reminds me I also need to get back on track with #9 from Old Macdonald in the photo tour.

Thanks for the nudge, Eric!

Might as well add a quick Go Phillies!!!  Go Cliff Lee!!!

Out of respect for you and the thumping your boys put on mine, I will let you finish enjoying your team's year before I jump ahead to mine.

My boy and I strolling down the fairways on a gorgeous April day in Paris...If this is not the way golf is supposed to be, count me out.

There is something special about watching your home course wake up in the morning.  Here is the new day dawning at Carolina for the final round of this year's Dixie Cup...

And the sunrise an hour or so earlier didn't exactly suck...

13th at Enniscrone

At first glance, I thought Ballyneal!

Ben,

That looks like the 2nd at Brancepeth Castle, which I took with your camera!  ;) Have you had a chance to put those photos on a disc for me yet?

And I won't go on about people posting pictures without telling everyone where they are, oh wait, I just did!  ::)

Cheers,

James

The rough at Ballyneal was pretty tough, especially if your ball wound up in a yucca  :o , but I suspect Ballyneal would be unplayable if the rough was the thick marram grass you see on the dunes in this photo!
