This may not be the best "picture" but it is a picture of the best moment of my golf year...

My son's first trip to Scotland, taking the ball out of the hole after his first ever eagle on the 1st at N. Berwick playing into a 30mph wind.  A moment my son and I will never forget.....

Bart

the best picture of the year is Ed Oden's Old Mac beauty....surely he must repost it here.

It is a terrible photo, but a wonderful image depicting all one needs to know about why golf is fun.

I'm pretty confident this is the non-golf course winner:

Did you know World Woods has the best burger I've ever had in my entire life? I'm planning a trip back just for another one between rounds.

Looks like a full parking lot at Corey's place!

Mine would have to be a picture of my two kids on the golf course with me for the first time.  Hopefully that will be something we share for a lifetime.

I still can't figure out how to correctly post a photo here. This thumbnail links to it though.

Thanks, mate.

That shot is of Clear Creek Tahoe's 17th hole and was taken with a little Sony point and shoot during a casual round with the venerable Sir Herreid.

To All,

Wow! Some great moments captured by all. Keep them coming. I'll get one up someday soon, when I can figure out how to post one. A bit of a hopeless cyber-dummy when it comes to this stuff.

This thread has officially launched me into holiday season mode.
Despite the occasional bickering, ranting and raving, etc., that we all can be guilty of...I'm very thankful for all of the great discourse, insights and friendships this site has contributed to enrich my life. Thanks to Ran, Ben and all the gang for a wonderful year of GCA!

Cheers,

 8) that 's JC's high stress level face, kinda like one seen as ball flies at highly excessive rates of speed and spin and then starts curving hard left.. but sometimes perfect, as on a hole like Belvedere's13th..
