San Luis Rey Downs Golf Course
« on: September 22, 2010, 11:13:58 AM »
Hello, gentlemen!

I am going to have my PAT at the SLRDGC near Bonsall, CA this November. Have anybody on this forum played the course? What are you thoughts with regards to it?

Thanks in advance

A thoroughly boring golf course.

My thoughts are that you had better be a good driver of the golf ball to score there, and hope you play in the morning. It gets quite windy in the corridor.

Thank you for the answers!
I probably should have asked this before but, unfortunately, at the moment I am all set for this course (PAT fee already paid and the hotel booked).

I'll let you know how I feel about the course and whether it is really all that boring and uninspiring.

Cheers,
Ivan

gc of c is about a Doak 1. I was offended.

fallbrook is a decent walk in the park. Maybe a Doak 3-4.

Ivan, good luck with the PAT. Definitely get in a practice round, and work on hitting a 3 wood off the tee.
