Here are some of the Aussie snaps from the Yucca... Jim you may have to (or another native) post up the names of everyone, as we met 100's... a fantastic event and memories to last a life time - or at least until the next Yucca ;D
(I still am having difficulty posting up the pics from me.com)

Thanks for sharing the pics.  What a great weekend!

Sometimes it is as fun to see the happy faces of a group like this, as the architecture.  Well done lads.
No actual golf rounds were ruined or delayed, nor golf rules broken, in the taking of any photographs that may be displayed by the above forum user.

Brett's Carnoustie story is something not to be missed. Really had a good time drinking outside with everyone as you can clearly see from the photos.

I can't wait to do it again!

Richard, it was OB, not Brett who regaled us. It was literally so funny, nothing else could be said afterward. There was no point in trying. Wow that was a fun trip! Great pics!

I grow more bitter every time one of these trips takes place and I can't go. I need to start saving for one.

Mike and Richard,
As an ex-Carnoustie lad is there any chance of having the bare bones of the Carnoustie  caddy story related; or did you have to be there with the body-language and delivery for it to be truly appreciated. Sounds like a fun and possibly over-relaxed trip (3-litre bottle of bourbon!!??)

Cheers Colin

My apologies, Mike is correct.

And the story must be heard in person. Typed words just cannot do it justice...

Rich/Mike and Colin,
I have heard Joooosten's(Oby, juzzy) story maybe 5 times, I love it, as it summarizes many of the great things about GB&I golfing adventures. The story telling requires the story teller and his audience to have enjoyed a few of the Scot's beverage of choice, and then to hear OBY's Scottish accented caddy explaining the perils of Carnousties 18th hole, the Van De Weld incident and then to have it all unfold before your very eyes with classic comic angles thrown in as well,  scolded in true Scottish style by said caddy.
"OBY - you have hit it OB"  .... Anyway, it must be heard not read, and will see if we can get him to the BOOMERANG at BARNBOUGLE.
Otherwise we may have to try and get him back to the Yucca in a couple of years time

I went back in to view this and the pictures aren't showing up.  Any idea as to why?  I was going to provide a few names to the group.  All I see is a big red X in the upper left corner.

Have updated with new links to pics so they don't disappear - have asked Darren to put up pics of the Yucca belt.

Glad to hear that about the Yucca buckle.  I must say i'm a proud holder of 1 with only 8 in existence today!  It's my personal "claret jug" of sorts  ;D

Wonder what they'll be serving at next year's champions dinner....

All joking aside, it was the highlight of my summer and I hope the opportunity presents itself again in the future.  Great golf course and a great bunch of guys.
