The Highlands is more notable for it's skyline views of about twenty suburban water towers! Snark aside it is worth a visit if you're in town and have played the 20 or so courses that are superior to it. Eight or so very good holes do not a great golf course make.
Well, what I didn't mention is that I needed to be at the proper angle to take that picture, so that I wouldn't get the water tower on my right and the suburban office buildings to my left.
That said, on a clear day, if you can block those things out, it's a nice view of downtown.
Tim, I haven't played Harborside in a few years, but I seem to remember the *ahem* additional skyline features being a bit more prevalent there. At Highlands, it feels like it's a hundred feet or more higher elevation as well.
