I was playing the underrated (and fun) little #1 Course yesterday and could see that the restoration is proceeding a little more expeditiously than I thought it would. That was my impression anyway.
The 11th hole is going to have some nice angles to it.
You can see where they are going with the mild density of the wire grass.
12 is progressing along quite well. The first photo is from a month ago - the second from yesterday.
And oh by the way, you may appreciate this photo of #1. There are many, many interesting mound formations along the way. Almost all are remnants from very early sand bunkers. I'm glad (and surprised) they didn't flatten them out when they were
ravaging improving the courses back in the 50's and 60's.
