Fascinating 3D flyover of that doyen of quirk: Painswick!
« on: April 22, 2010, 09:35:37 PM »
Go to this link: http://www.ccs.gb.net/ccs-3_018.htm

and click the red button that says "Click here to load file" if you wish to view the flyover.

It's quite a complicated process to download and view the file, but it is quite well done. When I have some time I'll try to figure out if I can do something to make it easier to view. Though if anyone else has any ideas, please let us know!

Charlie,

Thanks for pointing this one out! Its a bit of a bind going through the process but its an interesting flyover from a 3D topographical survey and worth the effort. Low res versions of each hole flyover are available on the Painswick website:

Cheers,

Thanks James, that will make it easier for others to view it.

Those fly overs make the course look even more than ever like scenes from "Lord of the Rings!"

The old grassed over quarry works make daunting hazards.
