By my count, page one here currently has FIFTEEN distinct Masters-related threads.   :o ::)

Perhaps we can set a new year's resolution for 2011 to keep it tighter?   :-\ ;)

The good news is, at least 3 of them are architecture-related!  ;D

I agree - all the OT „Hate“ threads should be spam filtered and transferred to a YOUTUBE clip and added to the comments there  …..

We promise to do much better on this.....

..until June when the US Open rolls around at Pebble.  ;D

Can't wait to see the various threads starting up on that course given its past controversy.

Do you think Tiger knew he wasn't going to win and thus over-exaggerated how "bad" some of his decent/mediocre shots were to make sure he could build the "I played terrible despite shooting -11 for the week" excuse?

I thought there was a definite over-exaggeration JC.  After we saw Tiger's negative body language following an apparent bad shot the ball would appear on the fairway/green in good shape. I suspect at least one of the BBC commentators (possibly Sam Torrance?) thought the same given he commentated a couple of times "there's not much wrong with that shot"

So I have played myself into contention a couple of times. There's time to make a run at the leaders, but instead I am more focused on building a case for why I won't win by purposely reacting to shots in a manner that helps me build this case. Have you people lost your minds?

I would think NO (keeping to a single thread).  The recent Masters was probably the biggest golf event so far this year and due to the fact that it was such a success, why not enjoy it    ....    for a few more days.
