I have to agree with The Ocean Course as well. The tight time table to get it done before the Ryder Cup just added to the press about the course, as well as the difficulty that it presented to the pros.

Lets put it this way.  There is no buzz about creating a new golf course for the Ryder Cup at Celtic Manor. 

I can't believe folks are even debating this.  Y'all must have short memories. 

Another course I remember with a lot of pre-opening hype was Wild Dunes.
