Noitce the area marked "Canal".  Richard Hyde's boat got washed inland during a storm so he had some men dig a channel back to the water.

Bill, I have often dreamed of what 18 would play like if that tee on 18 had been built. I mentioned it to my host today at Cypress. By the by was 15 feet from the pin on 16 with a driver into a 3 club wind. The clubhouse as well as the holes you mentioned are different. But this is an incredible thread. I am enjoying reading it.

Joe, thanks for all the recent additions.  I can hardly keep up! 

FYI - The index was getting very long.  So, for those courses that had multiple listings, I consolidated things into one line item and just referenced all posts relating to that course.  Hopefully that will free up some space an make things a little clearer.
