This year turns out to be not too bad GCAwise for television viewing. Although it does climax with a bit of an ebb.
This year most of us will likely only get to live vicariously through what is televised. Starting with Kapalua, in the midst of a south bound polar jet stream affecting the whole country, who cant help but salivate at this beautiful modern design, complete with bonus coverage ... bounce and roll. Then there's always hope someone will make Waialae CC look more like a Raynor. PGA West will be a breather before heading on to Torrey Pines, Riviera and Pebble Beach. The only time that trio should be mentioned in the same breath. But 2/3 ain't shabby. After that it's a long wait until Augusta, with a small stint south of the Border with two weeks in Arizona and one in Mexico, winding up with the Florida stint, and lord help us, a Trump course in Puerto Rico. This years Majors will be stellar. ANGC. Pebble, TOC, and (OK 3/4) Whistling Straits.
There will be a few more highlights with Aroniminick and St. Georges' (canada). Since I'm not familiar with all these courses it will be curious to see how they translate to the Tv screen.
Annandale and the new changes at Cog Hill might peak some interest, but after that, nothing seems to stir any desire to view.
Thoughts comments corrections welcome.
Other notables; Colonial, Muirfield Village Old White Course ? (I'm not famiiliar)
