Sean did switch his pick in Rd 1: "I complete misunderstood what was going on and apologize.  Now, I am still only going to list holes I have played and I will only pic one #1, #2 etc to make a total of 18 proper holes.  Since the Master of Ceremonies stated that I can change my pick I will.

My first pick has to be one where I secure a great short par 3 and with in mind I select the shortest hole on the Open rota:

Royal Troon Golf Club #8: Par 3 of 123 yards from the tippy tips.  The wonderful thing about this hole is that I recall standing on the green and looking at the tee with the thought that reversed this would be a fine hole.  The shape of the tee is very cool."

26. Matthew Hunt - SKIPPED

As a veteran of the first fantasy draft (and knowing that we have ten more participants in this new one), may I suggest that if the slightest chance of not being online (due to time zone or spousal differentials) exists, send Jim Colton a Private Message with the Subject "Don't Open Until You Pick," with a few choices.  I did so last night, not knowing if I would be on this morning. If you didn't follow the last draft, some of us (present company INCLUDED) kind of lost it at times and started squawking.

When can we trade out prior picks?

With ones that haven't been taken? Anytime.

With other people's holes? Anytime.

This is a trade friendly fantasy league!

When can we trade out prior picks?

Carl,

You can swap out a prior pick only when it's your turn.  So, for example, when you're up in the third round, you can say I'm picking holes X & Y AND I'm switching my first round pick hole A for hole B.  The holes you swap don't have to be the same hole number, just as long as you never carry two of the same hole number at any one time.

Only one swap is allowed per round.

You can make trades with other teams and announce them at any time.

I am back from meetings and online now.

I see Richard has been "on the clock" for 3 hours...advise if I should make my pick.

If so, Jim you have it via IM...simply post it if that is the best way to expedite things.

Sorry, guys West Coast time...

With the #2 pick, I select the hole #2 (par 4, 443 yards) to from the very fine club of Plainfield (NJ). A great tough par 4 with absolutely diabolical green.

Jordan,

Its not taken.

Just as a friendly FYI to everyone to expedite this contest... when you pick a potential hole, go to the 1st page and scroll down in the first few posts.  Jim is keeping track of all the picks so all you have to do is look at the number of the hole you want and go check everyones pick for that numbered hole.  If no one has picked it....its all yours!!
