SWEET!

My final three...

#13 at Bethpage Black, Par 5, 554 yards - Any world-class hole where I got an eagle is getting on this list!!!

#16 at Chambers Bay, Par 4, 425 yards - My personal favorite hole at Chambers Bay. You can't beat the train rolling through next to the hole. The green is so benign looking yet is an abolute round killer.

#18 at Ballyneal, Par 4, ~450 yard-ish - I was going to pick Kapalua Plantation's 18th hole, but this quote from John Kirk put this hole over Kapalua; "#18 (at Ballyneal) is the coolest thing ever.  Ever."

My 18, Par 71, 7035 yards
#1 Augusta National, par 4, 445 yards
#2 Plainfield, par 4, 443 yards
#3 Ballyneal, par 3, 140 yards
#4 Bandon Dunes, par 4, 410 yards
#5 Bandon Dunes, par 4, 428 yards
#6 Pebble Beach, par 5, 500 yards
#7 Plainfield, par 4, 471 yards
#8 Bandon Trails, par 4, 321 yards
#9 Bethpage Black, par 4, 460 yards
#10 Chambers Bay, par 4, 398 yards
#11 Plainfield, par 4, 148 yards
#12 Challenge at Manele, par 3, 202 yards
#13 Bethpage Black, par 5, 554 yards
#14 Chambers Bay, par 4, 521 yards
#15 Pacific Dunes, par 5, 539 yards
#16 Chambers Bay, par 4, 425 yards
#17 Bandon Trails, par 3, 180 yards
#18 Ballyneal, par 4, 450 yards

I am very happy that my selections are very consistent and match well with each other.

Should I recommend we do fantasy draft Clubhouses for our courses?

I think for continuity purposes we should have to take either the clubhouse of our 1st or last hole...

Now should I take Riviera or Augusta National?  :D

Chip, for your worthy suggestion, you can make the first clubhouse selection along with your final three holes since you're up anyways.  We'll go in the same order as the rest of the last round, then back around.

Assuming Kalen had til 10am so I'll take:
#18 SFGC Par 5 (and the drinks in the locker room after)
#10 Bandon Dunes
#9 Lahinch Par 4

Trade #13 at Lahinch for Sand Hills #13 Par 3 210

I already took SFGC's clubhouse and locker room with my 18th hole as that was one of the influences in my decision.  ;)
Did you know World Woods has the best burger I've ever had in my entire life? I'm planning a trip back just for another one between rounds.

On the clubhouses, we have to pick between our 1st and 18th holes clubhouse?  So, I've got Askernish or St. Andrews to choose from.

Sweet!!

Does Askernish even have one?   ;D

I don't think that is a rule, though I'm not disappointed with Shinnecock or the one where the hole is for my #1.
I get it, you are mad at the world because you are an adult caddie and few people take you seriously.

Excellent spellers usually lack any vision or common sense.

I know plenty of courses that are in the red, and they are killing it.

Y'all ain't got nuthin' on me...

6,837 yard par 72 with back to back to back to back par 3's on holes 14-17.  BABY!!!   ;D

Then throw in a movable green, golfing on the infield of the Indy 500, a just for fun 19th hole with world's most dramatic elevation change.

AND the beautiful and luxurious clubhouse of Askernish.

Oh yes, golfing Nirvana!!!   :)

Missed my third pick today while traveling, so my late replacement is the Dell hole, #5 at Lahinch, 165 yards.

Victory is mine!!!

Sorry I haven't been chiming in boys. Bogey chewed through my Macbook cord and Dept of Defense computers have effective firewalls against golf architecture discussion groups. Coltrain, when are you going to create that GCA iPhone app we keep talking about.

By the way, even though Tom chose the Dell, Wyatt Halliday is way out in front. :)
