I did some research and it seems that pay it forward experiments always fail when someone gives the ultimate gift. Kinda like Jesus and Christianity. Thanks Eric!!!

John, you can pick up toilet paper with jokes and other idiocy on it at any gag gift store in your local mall.
I get it, you are mad at the world because you are an adult caddie and few people take you seriously.

Excellent spellers usually lack any vision or common sense.

I know plenty of courses that are in the red, and they are killing it.

JC,

Nice shot. My point was that Morgan accepted the fine gift forgetting the part about offering something else in return. The "pay it forward" part, so to speak.

If anyone has one of the Pine Valley centennial scorecards, I have some brand new scorecards I would trade or offer up (Oakmont, Sleepy Hollow, Plainfield, Prestwick, Western Gailes )

I'll take the stack of Old Course scorecards if you still have them and can offer up a couple of my doubles: The Spirit of St. Andrews (hardcover) and Tiger Woods - How I Play Golf (hardcover).

Thought I would revive this thread.  I have a color print suitable for framing of the 1925 drawing of Lookout Mountain (a/k/a Fairyland Golf Club) designed by Raynor and Banks.  It will be on its way to the first person that claims it and will pay forward something they have in return.

All the best,

Ed

How does this work again? Does this mean that the CGV3 is available?

I would like to take volume 3 if no has claimed it. If it is still available I have a par 3 flag still in the packaging from the masters this year I would offer up. Figured it has value since it was canceled.

Thanks again Frank!! If no one is interested in the flag I also have copies of lost links, missing links, art of golf design, and planet golf. I would happily let someone claim one of these to pass on the generosity.

Been a few years, but I have the below headcover if anyone wants it. Never been used. Would fit a rescue or hybrid club.

First to respond it's yours.

Tim, I lost a hybrid cover yesterday and would welcome the replacement.  In return I offer a pristine copy of Donald Steel’s Classic Golf Links of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland to the first responder.

Thanks Mike I'll cherish your book. I'll pm you an address.

In return I have a metal bag tag from Royal Dornoch.  It is new and rather nice as it has all 18 holes and distances around the circumstance. Like in the one in the lower left here.

Let me know a place to send via pm.

Fun thread.  I offer "Golf at Yale" which is a small paperback book about "The Players, The Teams, and The Course."  This is in gratitude to the GCA member that sold me one of his extra copies of "The Evangelist of Golf" at cost a few years ago.  Thanks again to that individual if he is reading this!
