I Hope the club accepts all the recomendations of Gil as they really need to go all in to realize the full potential as it is a very rugged piece of property though a little less tree-lined than in the past. The should seek to highlight some of the quirkiness rather than attempting to benchmark Stanwich.
I do hope they go the way of Raynor as he was one of many on the property and some elements are still visible. what is more Raynor than what will be an all-world par 5 #4? Have seen an old post card of the 18th which again looks very Raynor.
Gil and George were a great team at SHCC and though the property is a little different, with more abundent rock and much smaller greens, it would seem Raynor would be most appropriate. At a mimimum, having Gil there will yield a superior product.
