If you log onto www.bandondunesgolf.com and click on one of their golf courses you can vote for the logo. It seems pretty much cut and dried as to which one will "win".

This is weird. I already have a hat, ball marker, scorecard, etc., with the O&M logo. But the rooster is pretty cool. It would certainly accompany the Puffin, Seals and Butterflies well...

There were more than a few who indicated that the name "Old MacDonald" might be temporary.
This contest would seem to refute that notion.

I assume it from old macdonald had a farm, and in keeping with the animal theme of the other courses.
The next Year of the Rooster starts in early 2017.

Personally, I like the cock (plus, many people seemed to think Mac was a bit of a c*&k), but I must say the cock on the weather vane is very cool. Bandon should just buy that logo - if the course is going to be called Old Mac. The OM logo is tired and too much like an Aussie logo. The two figures isn't bad, but its a bit busy.

I agree with Dan - I can't say I really like any (but voted for #2).

Really surprised that Bandon doesn't find a new logo that:
1) Fits the design of the other 3 courses (something to be said for consistent branding)
2) Mixes #1 with some throwback elements (like a monogram or such)

I like #2 even though it doesn't fit with the rest of the resort logos.

I like it better than the butterfly at Trails.

I really hope #1 and #3 aren't seriously being considered. Those are bad.

From a branding/marketing perspective, the red rooster is certainly consistent with Bandon's other animal characters. But as depicted now, the bird looks pretty lame. C'mon, give that cock some…… attitude!

Old Mac should have a 'design a logo' contest open to the masses. They'd get a lot of ideas for cheap...simply give the winner a free trip to opening day or something like that.

You're right.. as a great man often reminds me, I do overuse that word.

Replace "hate" with "despise."

But of course, to each his own. You prove that with your rooting choice in the NBA Western Conference Finals.

ps - if forced to choose, yeah I'd take #2 logo also. And re the basketball... oh yes I am a life-long Laker fan but my boys are really up against it with the Nuggets. They are damn good.
