How big a jump is that from the last ratings, and did they say why?

Why to you find Augusta National Golf Club's ranking "unbelievable?"

Why is that such a joke?

Because some people think ANGC has turned into Augusta TPC?

I'm not all that particular.  I'll think of something and bill it to you.

Lord give me the strength to avoid this thread, oh how predictable the responses will be....

In what way?

Long and narrow, suited to the tour pros?

Bogey,

Notice that I put a question mark behind my first answer, because I was guessing what some may be thinking. I don't pay a lot of attention to the course. I will never have a chance to play it. And, I don't have much desire to play it. If I want to play a narrow corridor between trees, all I have to do is stay in the Pacific NW. However, I'm going to KP to play Rustic Canyon, the anti-PNW course, and I'm stoked about it.

Oh, I will break my self-promise (after hurting my back trying to pick up the 20 postcards for Men's Health and Women's Day magazine that fall out of each copy of Golf Digest when you pick them up some months back) and buy this issue.

I can't wait to hear this one!   ;D

If Golf Digest seriously ranks Engh's Black Rock as the 27th best course in the country, I will spit milk out of my nose trying to supress my laughter.

Ballyneal and Chambers Bay did not make it. Chambers Bay is number 37 public.

Looks like the Denver airport is where the first copies showed up since I am the only one who has seen the list. :)
